When choosing a product to promote there's many things you want to consider to select the correct product for your personal marketing needs.

{Quick Marketing Methods}
#1 Pay-Per-Click, and Direct Linking
Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Is the most effective style of marketing, that will bring in loads of traffic. Through my testing, I have found that the best conversions come from direct linking. A direct link is setting up a link directly to my sales page (through your hoplink).
On most keywords you may have someone else that is using a direct link campaign. Google will not let you advertise the same URL as them. This is not a problem, by setting up a re-direct page you can still direct link!
A re-direct page is simple a website that redirects someone to the page of your choice (my sales page with your hoplink).

#2 Videos
Video's are a great way to get traffic and get sales! People enjoy watching video's and they are VERY easy to make. You can make video's very easily all you have to do is use one of these three programs:
I personally prefer to use Camtasia because of how clean the video's look and how easy they are to get them on the web. However you can use any of the three. Here's some idea's for the videos:
- Review The Guide
- Music Video
- Funny Video
- "Secret Video" (Show them something NO ONE will see! ex. A tip from my guide)
Once you make the video it's very simple to start getting traffic. Make the video and submit it to Free Video sites like YouTube. When you submit it, make sure you add your affiliate link to come back to my page! That way when they make a purchase you will be making your cut of the commission!
#3 Blogs
Blogs are a great source of free traffic. You can get a free, easy to make blog here at Blogger.
Once you have you're blog all you have to do is put up advertisements, or write articles, reviews or some strategies to get traffic coming to your site. Comment on other peoples blogs to get traffic to your site also! Make sure you include your affiliate link to get more traffic.
#4 Tell-Your-Friends
This is one of the most over looked ways to pick up some quick sales! Tell your friends about the guide, get them wanting to buy and then give them your affiliate link! You will get a percentage of the purchase just for letting your friends know about the guide!
