Vendor Item Gold - Easy Gold Guide

You may think, vendors?!

A good place to make some profit and money? Yeah, vendors are actually a great place to get some extra cash along the way of your questing or just making a bit of money in general; vendors are able to have limited supply of items for the whole server in which if someone else buys it before you, you have to wait about half an hour before the vendor restocks it or vendors have a limited supply just for your character meaning that if you buy the limited stock out it will never appear on that character you are currently playing again.

With such limits, and some vendor only items, these are a good place to pick up along the way of your travels and get some pocket change from the auction house!

Starting off, recipes are a great place to start with this kind of making money. Some recipes are only vendor found, and if you find this for a person in need of the recipe at that moment or they are just too lazy to get it themselves because it is in a far-away place you can make some good money off of it! First, let’s take into account of alchemy. Alchemy is a widely common profession to choose for a gatherer/producer character, and some just don’t have the time to pick up those limited sale recipes! This is where you may come in on your travels, and drop by there to get that recipe!

If you’re wanting to get a taste of that major dreamless sleep potion if you’re alliance head off to Leeli Longhagle in Terokkar Forest found in the Allerian Stronghold. Horde aren’t able to nab this up though, so as alliance, you have a small advantage being able to sell it for a higher price at the neutral auction house.

Moving on to enchanting, when you are wanting that arcanite rod to level up your enchanting from 290, you are able to find your rod from Lorelae Wintersong in Moonglade. If you want to enchant weapons for agility, you can also find that from Meilosh from Felwood.

A big change from the amount of profitable limited recipes from enchanting and alchemy, engineering by far has the largest amount of recipes needed from limited recipe vendors! Many engineers get engineering for fun, and would love to get their recipes once they level up! For the horde, gnomish universal remote would be a good place to start, for they find it from Jinky Twizzlefixxit in the Shimmering Flats; the alliance won’t make much out of this though, for they can find it from an NPC in Ironforge.

A big staple of engineering is also a limited sale recipe, and this would happen to be the goblin jumper cables, this can be gotten from multiple places; it can be found from Super-Seller 680 from Desolace, Zixill in the Hillsbrad Foothills, Kzixx in Duskwood and Veenix in the Stonetalon Mountains. Engineers, wanting to be able to cloak themselves find themselves in a predicament when they have to get their recipe from Blizrik Buckshot in Gadgetzan which is the gnomish cloaking device.

For those people who want to get the most out of their fun from engineering, the mechanical dragonling can be found from Gnaz Blunderflame in Stranglethorn Vale and the mithril mechanical dragonling can be found from Ruppo Zipcoil in the Hinterlands. Also, for those one engineers leveling up and needing thorium widgets and thorium tubes in their list of things to make, they may find it from Xizzer Fizzbolt in Winterspring.

A less list for tailoring would happen to be the pink mageweave shirt, tuxedo shirt, tuxedo pants, and tuxedo jacket for the tailors in the horde. Though these are not beneficial to the stats, they are only found on the alliance side; so if you are able to get a handle on these, and sell it successfully in a neutral auction house you may make a small profit off of it. Also, a runecloth bag pattern that is rare to find, which respawns very rarely is from Everlook from a person named Qia.

As you explore the Outlands in World of Warcraft, there are other ways to be able to make some quick cash with these vendors that don’t sell necessairly limited supply items, they just re spawn their items in a little while and you may check back every once in a while : Bossi Pentapiston in the Blades Edge Mountains, Dealer Najeeb in Netherstorm, Viggz Shinespark from Shattrath, and Qiff from Netherstorm. Some motes of an element may be good to buy along with some engineering materials that are sold at a very low price than what they are made from and much more.

So next time you need a little bit of money, or want to get some money along your travels, finding some limited supply vendor items may be a good idea along with some vendors in the Outland with an unlimited supply, just re-spawning every once in a while. Can’t beat some cash along the way, can it? Buying that new hot mount is suddenly a bit closer, I wonder why?
